Warwick already made a Sauvignon Blanc under the original and intriguing name "Professor Black". This First Lady is an addition to this, based on purchased grapes from other producers, and thus marketed at a friendly price. It is made as a delicious fruity and light-footed white wine. The grapes are harvested on time to give it enough acidity and freshness, without the alcohol content being too high. It undergoes fermentation and maturation on stainless steel only, to emphasize the fruit in the wine. This to make a wine that captures the essence of the fresh fruit of the sauvignon grape, in all its vibrancy. Delicious! The fruit splashes out of the glass!
